- 1 cup of freshly brewed black tea (cooled to room temperature)
- 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemonade
- 1 tablespoon of honey or sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh lemon slices (for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Boil 2 cups of water in a kettle or saucepan.
- Remove from heat and add 2-3 black tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature. Refrigerate if in a hurry.
- Squeeze fresh lemons to obtain about 1 cup of lemon juice.
- In a pitcher, combine lemon juice with 1 cup of cold water.
- Add 1 tablespoon of honey or sugar if desired, stirring until dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- In a large pitcher, pour in the cooled black tea and freshly made lemonade.
- Stir gently to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness or add more water/lemonade if needed.
- Fill tall glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour the Arnold Palmer mixture over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full.
- Garnish with fresh lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
