- 1 box (5.1 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream

- Optional: additional banana slices and crushed vanilla wafers for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, pour in the instant vanilla pudding mix.
- Add 2 cups of cold milk to the bowl. Whisk together until thickened (about 2 minutes). Set aside.
- In a separate large mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of heavy whipping cream.
- Add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Using an electric mixer, whip on medium-high speed until soft peaks form (about 3-5 minutes). Be careful not to over-whip.
- Gently fold one-third of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture using a spatula.
- Continue folding in the remaining whipped cream until well combined and smooth.
- Grab a large trifle dish or individual serving cups.
- Place a layer of vanilla wafers at the bottom of the dish.
- Slice 2 bananas and layer them over the wafers.
- Spoon a generous layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
- Repeat the layering process (wafers, bananas, pudding) for a total of 2-3 layers.
- Finish with the remaining pudding mixture on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
- Before serving, garnish with additional banana slices and crushed vanilla wafers.
