Instructions
- Rinse the rice in a fine-mesh sieve until the water runs clear.
- Combine the rice and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
- While the rice is cooking, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the garlic butter over the cooked rice and toss to combine.
- Serve immediately.

- For best results, use long-grain rice.
