Enjoy a delightful Garlic Chicken Spinach Pizza with a crispy crust, creamy ricotta, tender chicken, fresh spinach, and gooey mozzarella. Perfect for cozy nights or gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Place a pizza stone in the oven to preheat or lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil or line it with parchment paper.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. If the dough is too elastic, let it rest for a few minutes before rolling again.
  4. Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough to your prepared pizza stone or baking sheet.
  5. Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Stir in cooked chicken and chopped spinach, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach wilts. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Remove from heat.
  7. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth.
  8. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  9. Evenly distribute the sautéed chicken and spinach mixture over the cheese layer.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top.
  11. If desired, sprinkle red pepper flakes over the pizza.
  12. Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  13. Monitor the pizza during the last few minutes of baking. Cover edges with aluminum foil if they brown too quickly.
  14. Carefully remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.
  15. Slice the pizza into wedges, typically 8 slices.
  16. Tear fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them over the top for added flavor.
  17. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad.
