- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 oz ginger beer
- 2 oz grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed is best)

- Ice cubes
- Grapefruit slices (for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
- Salt (for rimming the glass, optional)
Instructions
- If you like a salted rim, take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of your glass to moisten it. Dip the rim into a small plate of salt, ensuring an even coating. Set the glass aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, grapefruit juice, and agave syrup. Fill the shaker with ice cubes, about halfway full. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
- Open the shaker and strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice cubes. Slowly pour the ginger beer over the top.
- Garnish with a slice of grapefruit on the rim and add a few fresh mint leaves. Gently slap the mint leaves between your hands before adding them to release their oils.
