- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled completely
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy), chilled
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Caramel candies, crushed (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Brew strong coffee using your preferred method.
- Let the coffee cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- Ensure caramel sauce is at room temperature.
- In a small bowl, combine cooled coffee and 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce. Stir well until dissolved.
- Add simple syrup and vanilla extract to the coffee-caramel mixture. Adjust simple syrup to taste.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Carefully pour the coffee-caramel mixture over the ice.
- Gently pour the chilled milk over the coffee mixture.
- Use a long spoon or straw to gently stir the iced caramel coffee.
- Add a dollop of whipped cream on top.
- Drizzle extra caramel sauce over the whipped cream or coffee.
- Sprinkle crushed caramel candies over the whipped cream.
- Serve Immediately!
