Description
Enjoy a refreshing Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade, a perfect summer drink that combines green tea, ripe peaches, and zesty lemon juice. Sweetened to your liking, this invigorating beverage is ideal for hot days and can be garnished with fresh mint and peach slices for an extra touch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups water
- 4 green tea bags
- 2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Peach slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Use filtered water for the best flavor.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the 4 green tea bags. Steep for 5-7 minutes, then remove the tea bags and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to speed up cooling.
- While the tea cools, prepare the peach puree by blending the sliced peaches in a blender or food processor until smooth. For a chunkier texture, pulse instead of blending completely. Optionally, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother consistency.
- In a large pitcher, combine the cooled green tea, peach puree, and fresh lemon juice.
- Add honey or agave syrup to the mixture, stirring until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Stir well and optionally add a pinch of salt to enhance flavors.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to chill.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled peach green tea lemonade over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full.
- Garnish with fresh peach slices and mint leaves for a beautiful presentation. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir before serving as ingredients may settle.
- If the drink becomes too sweet, add a splash of water or more lemon juice to balance it out.
- Feel free to experiment with other fruits or add sparkling water for a fizzy twist. For an adult version, consider adding a splash of vodka or gin.
