Description
Creamy, decadent Oreo Mocha Frappe! This easy blended drink combines coffee, milk, chocolate, and Oreo cookies for a refreshing treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 15 Oreo cookies, divided (plus extra for garnish, if desired)
- 2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 cup milk (any kind works, I prefer whole milk for richness)
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups ice cubes (or more, depending on desired thickness)
- Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
- Chocolate shavings, for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Oreo Crumbs: Separate 10 Oreo cookies, twisting the wafers from the cream filling. Crush the wafers in a food processor or zip-top bag until finely crumbled. Set aside.
- Blend the Frappe: In a high-powered blender, combine cooled coffee, milk, chocolate syrup, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and the remaining 5 Oreo cookies (including the cream filling).
- Add Ice: Add 2 cups of ice cubes (or more for desired thickness).
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy. Adjust with more milk if too thick, or more ice if too thin.
- Incorporate Oreo Crumbs: Add half of the Oreo crumbs to the blender and pulse a few times to incorporate, leaving some crumbly texture.
- Assemble and Garnish: Pour into two tall glasses. Top with whipped cream (optional), sprinkle with remaining Oreo crumbs, and add chocolate shavings (optional). Garnish with a whole Oreo cookie on the rim (optional).
- Serve Immediately: Enjoy your Oreo Mocha Frappe right away!
