Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian or regular)
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced pickles or jalapeños for topping

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  2. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
  3. Set the sauce aside to allow the flavors to meld while you prepare the sliders.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Take the slider buns and slice them in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected.
  6. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Spread a generous amount of the prepared sauce over the bottom halves of the buns.
  8. Layer the thinly sliced roast beef evenly over the sauce-covered buns.
  9. Place the Swiss cheese slices over the roast beef, covering it completely.
  10. Top with the upper halves of the slider buns, pressing down gently to secure the layers.
  11. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  12. Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the slider buns.
  13. If desired, sprinkle a little extra poppy seeds on top for added texture and flavor.
  14. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  15. Place the covered baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  16. After 15 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  17. Once baked, remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing them apart.
  18. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the sliders apart along the seams.
  19. If desired, add sliced pickles or jalapeños on top of each slider.
  20. Serve the sliders warm, either on a platter or directly from the baking dish.
  21. If you have leftovers, store the sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  22. To reheat, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the sliders in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Heat for about 10-15 minutes, or until warmed through.
  23. For a crispier top, remove the foil during the last few minutes of reheating.
