Enjoy these Turkey Ham Croissant Melts, featuring flaky croissants stuffed with savory turkey ham, melted Swiss cheese, and a zesty Dijon-mayo sauce. Ideal for a quick lunch or a comforting dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large croissants
  • 8 ounces sliced turkey ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the croissants in half horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and honey (if using).
  5. Mix until smooth and well combined, adjusting the ratio to taste.
  6. Set the sauce aside.
  7. Spread a spoonful of the sauce on the inside of each croissant half.
  8. Layer the sliced turkey ham on the bottom half of each croissant.
  9. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the turkey ham.
  10. Add freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  11. Close the croissants with the top half and press down gently.
  12. Brush the tops of the croissants with olive oil or melted butter.
  13. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  14. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  15. Let the croissant melts cool for a minute before serving.
  16. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley or chives.
  17. Serve warm with a side of salad or crispy potato chips.
